About Dr. Hinojosa
Dr. Jorge Aldo Hinojosa grew up in Pharr, Texas, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where he graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), Gold Humanism Honor Society (GGHS) and received the Award for Excellence in Dermatology. He completed a one-year research fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Amit Pandya investigating Vitiligo and other pigmentary disorders. After medical school, he completed a Transitional-Year Internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, before returning to UT Southwestern for Dermatology Residency, where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Hinojosa’s is a native Spanish speaker. His interest in dermatology includes general dermatology, pigmentary disorders, skin cancer, dermatologic surgery, psoriasis, and cosmetics. In his free time, Dr. Hinojosa enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing tennis, and barbequing.
